The Science of Snack Time
K12 Student at Diggs & Latham Elementary School embarked on a journey through Food Science! In class, each student entered the "science lab", dressed as scientist, and learned the importance of health eating by making health snack choices. After studying their food, they ate their findings! Food Science is an important field of study. Students engaged in educational findings, careers in STEAM, and hands on learning activities.
Thanks to our sponsor, Walmart, each student scientist received gift cards towards the purchase of health food and snack options!
